Racequip Pro Youth Helmet SFI 24.1

The RaceQuip PRO Youth Helmet is a full-face SFI 24.1 rated racing helmet purpose-built for young drivers. Lighter and smaller than an adult shell, it's designed to fit kids properly — not just scaled-down versions of adult gear. Whether your driver is competing in USAC NASCAR Youth Series quarter midgets, NHRA Jr. Dragsters, or karting, this helmet meets the safety rating requirements to get on track.

Construction & Safety

The hand-laid Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite shell strikes the right balance between strength and weight — keeping the load off small necks during a long race day. Inside, an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner absorbs impact energy, while the comfort-fit blended Nomex interior wicks heat and keeps your driver cool. Exhaust vents on the top and rear of the shell help move air through.

The SFI 24.1 rating means the Nomex interior, Kevlar chin strap, and fire-retardant paint all meet certified fire safety standards — required for USAC-sanctioned competition.

Head & Neck Restraint Ready

The lower rear of the shell features two reinforced M6 threaded inserts, making it simple to attach HANS or HNR anchor posts (sold separately). If your driver is running a head and neck restraint device — which is recommended in all classes — this helmet is ready for it out of the box.

Vision & Shield

A wide eyeport delivers excellent peripheral vision and accommodates personal eyewear. The distortion-free 3mm polycarbonate faceshield features an aluminum pivot kit and hand-ratcheting tear-off posts, so you can run tear-offs on race day without buying a different shield setup.

Fit

One size fits head circumferences of 51–53cm (20"–20 7/8"). Extra cheek pads are included to dial in the fit across that range. For drivers between sizes, always size up.
