Weights and Ballast
Meeting class minimum weight requirements is not optional, and how you get there matters more than most new teams realize. Ballast is not just a compliance tool. Where you mount the weight on the chassis affects handling, weight transfer, and how the car rotates through the corners. A lighter driver in a heavy class has more flexibility to position ballast low and in spots that actually help the car. This collection has the lead weights and mounting hardware you need to make weight legally and mount it securely, as required by NASCAR Youth Series and QMA rules.
Losing ballast during a race is an automatic disqualification, so proper mounting is not something to cut corners on. Bolt everything through with appropriate hardware and check it as part of your pre-race routine every weekend.
